Welcome to the Megaplex DJ Application process. We’re very happy to have you here as we look forward to offering our guests an outstanding lineup of dance events. To that end, it’s important to remember that we consider many factors when scheduling DJs. We are looking for technical ability, savvy programming, flexibility in the room, positive attitudes and team players who support each other. Professionalism counts.

We remain committed to showcasing new talent. Don’t be offended if you’ve been featured for the past three or more years in a row and we ask you to take a year off so there’s room for a newcomer. It’s not that you have a bad submission, it’s just about mixing things up. It also puts you at the head of the line for future years. We understand the hard work, dedication, and expenses that come with being a DJ and as such we now comp the registration of our selected DJs.

Applicants will be considered for and are expected to be available on any of the four nights we hold dance events. If you are offered a night or time when you cannot be in attendance, we will attempt to match you with a slot that works for you, but please understand that may not always be possible.

This year, in response to lots of guest feedback, in addition to the traditional EDM, we’re going to be programming several “specialty” sets, highlighting some genres of dance music that aren’t heard as often, such as rock, pop, oldies, hip-hop, latin, swing and more, so if your library is diverse and you’d like to be considered for these sets as well, be sure to let us know!
